Baguettes


Okay, I am going to journal my bread baking experiment. I have created two starters a yeast & a sourdough. I baked baguettes from the yeast starter yesterday. The baguettes came out great. Well the flavor & texture was delicious, but the loaves lacked volume. I am going to try again on Thursday. This time I added half wheat flour and 1/4 tsp. more yeast to the sponge. So far, it looks perfect...We will see how they bake up. I will try sourdough bread on Saturday. I have posted more pictures under the food tab.
